Production recipe
What is the difference between a production recipe and a Sales BOM?
A production recipe defines inputs and expected output for one Central Kitchen batch. A Sales BOM defines what one completed sale consumes. Actual yield and waste are recorded in Production after the batch is finished.
Who can use it
Before you start
- The recipe is active and physical production is complete.

Sets the approved input and expected yield basis.

Records what was actually made and lost.
Step by step

Select the approved recipe.

Enter actual produced quantity and any waste.

Post only after the batch is physically finished.

Create a transfer if finished stock moves to another location.
Watch out
- Do not post planned production as if it was made.
